| Three Bird Nest | look book | 02.29.12 | Fashion |
| I had the pleasure of shooting the Look Book for three bird nest, an eclectic boutique of hand-made headbands, boot socks, hair bows, scarves, leggings & all things accessories! I brought my sister, Lindsay in to do the hair and makeup, PJ from milk glass vintage rentals to help with the scene (note awesome vintage elements!) and studio editor, Shannon in to assist in this super fun shoot. I must say aside from PJ's sexy hubby showing up to help with the heavy lifting, it was quite the girly day!
We wanted this shoot to be very flirty and carefree. I think with the gorgeous weather, our team of experts and our beautiful models Alexa and Joy, we certainly hit the nail on the head! It was so much fun to play with all of the frilly things three bird nest has in stock! Needless to say, by the end of the day, all of us ladies wanted to run home with these super cute headbands and socks! |

| Every once in a while I get the opportunity to "save the day!" and it makes me thankful for the community of photographers we have. Whenever one of our own needs a hand, we step up to the task. I received a frantic phone call from a fellow photographer who had fallen very ill and needed someone to shoot for her. With a day's notice I was able to move my plans over and take on this fabulous wedding! It was also sweet to meet and work alongside Rosaura Sandoval, who also was filling in for the day!
It was as absolutely gorgeous day and so wonderful meeting Kristina and Shawn. After shooting the two of them together I could see exactly why they have fallen in love with each other. Individually they are wonderful people and together they are perfection :) Thank you so much for welcoming me into your most cherished day! The Cypress Manor is such a beautiful venue to shoot at and family friend was kind enough to lend us their estate close by for the formal photographs, I was in love with my surroundings!
