The Falkner Family 08.27.10  |  Lifestyle

All I can say is SUPER MOM! I met Janet a couple of years ago at an industry event, and have been in love with her ever since. She designs amazing jewelry from new and vintage pieces and I absolutely adore her work! Needless to say, after about an hour of just watching her with her THREE boys under the age 5, I was exhausted! I don't know how she keeps it all together, but her little guys are absolutely adorable and so much fun to be around! Here's a tiny peak at the madness :)

My sweet sweet niece Gracie 08.24.10  |  Lifestyle, Personal

I can't believe I forgot to blog this set! Earlier this year, I took my brother in law and his family out for a quick shoot. His daughter, Grace has got to be one of the cutest little girls I have ever seen! She smiles on command, has the funniest personality and is one of the most well behaved kids I have ever encountered. She has set quite the standard for the rest of the Stewart children to come! Good job mom and dad!

Little Miss Rylynn! 08.16.10  |  Lifestyle

Can't help but love this little chub muffin! A little shoot with my girlfriend, Mandi's sweet baby girl and little sister to our little darling Elliana {who was at summer camp for the day!}.

Just of couple of my sweetie... 02.21.10  |  Lifestyle, Personal

Well here she is! Little Sydney, my best friend Jen's little angel. It so crazy seeing how fast they grow and develop little personalities. She's at that age that you always dream about; they are extra chubs, have a cute little laugh, the sweetest little touch and they can't quite run away form you yet! We know our days were numbered so we played around with our little model and Sydney's newest tricks! She turns 7 months in two days!

{Here she is on Day I}

Look who can sit up! This was a day that Jen had asked me to babysit, so she came over and Mel and I entertained her!

Her newest trick: sitting up, leaning forward, and getting into crawl position! uh-oh!

{P.S. look at those sweet little innocent eyes - don't let them fool you}

She grabs for everything and is just starting to realize what the word 'No' is and she's starting to not like it!

She is her mommies biggest fan.

And our sweet little guinea pig.

Getting ready! We are estimating just a couple more weeks before she is off! She wants to do what big people do!

hello beautiful.

Baby Rylynn has arrived! 01.28.10  |  Lifestyle

Let's just say that my good friend Mandi did NOT have the easiest pregnancy! I can't even begin to tell you how much I admire this woman for staying strong and positive with all that she has been through. She is an inspiration to me and my quest for starting a family. Mandi is no stranger to this blog, 3 years ago she had the cutest little baby girl with more personality than I have ever seen in such a little tiny person. With this pregnancy, Mandi was not going relax until the baby was out and safe in her arms. The look on her face in this first image just cracks me up as she was just anxious, nervous and most of all annoyed she had to wait so long for her little princess.

Because of her difficulties with this pregnancy, they had decided to induce the labor. As it happened, it was scheduled to day after I arrived home from Rome. With as exhausted as I was, I wasn't going to miss this opportunity to be there and capture such a little miracle. So, they induced her in the morning and Mandi suggested I come around noon. Six o'clock comes around and she is barely dilated 6 cm and since I was only 15 minutes away, I contemplate going home. When I approach Mandi and 6:30 to tell her my plan, she gives me a look I know all too well and tells me that the baby will be here within the hour. Mandi is a different kind of character, she has this sixth sense where she feels something and comes up with next to impossible predictions. I tend to laugh at her, but she is ALWAYS right! So, I opted to stay. Everyone in the room decided that they had time to go grab a drink and visit the vending machines, while I stayed in the room. With camera in hand, Mandi calls me to the bed freaking out that the baby is coming. I quote "JEN, YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DELIVER THIS BABY!!!" Camera in one hand, Mandi clenching on the other, I am a dear in headlights. I ask if she wants me to look and before she could answer, to my relief the nurse comes in. Sure enough! Mandi had dilated to other 4 cm in less than an hour! Everyone scrambled to get her husband, Elliot and the Doctor in the room and I went back to my place as the photographer/videographer. with just 20 minutes of pushing, we have a beautiful baby girl that is the spitting image of her big sister Elliana. Life is such a miracle and I don't think I will ever grow tired of capturing such an incredible moment in time. For the rest of my life I will look at this little girl knowing that I was there when she came into this world.

Thank you so much Mandi and Elliot for sharing such an incredible piece of your life with me. You are forever loved.

Here she is just seconds old! Rylynn Hope 7.46 lbs 20.5 inches long

Doesn't Mandi look incredible for just delivering a baby?!?

I love this moment...

And these too!

Proud Mimi and Papa.

And here she is, BIG sister, Elliana. When I came over to shoot Rylynn's newborn photographs, I made sure to give Elliana lots of attention before I even laid eyes on the baby. Plus, I love this little miss so much, I could just hug and kiss her all day long. So, I'm hanging out for a while, waiting for the baby to fall asleep and be content, when Elliana looks at me and says "Jen!? When are we going to take pictures?" I started laughing. While I do take pictures of her every few months, she usually doesn't pay much attention and runs around and has fun. It's rare that I can get her to sit still and pose - until now! It was so funny! So her and i go in her room and do our own little photo shoot, she is just so cute! Here she is in her big girl room with her big girl bed...

She loves her little sister {most of the time!}. While holding her, Rylynn began to cry and she just calmly tried to love her by rubbing her head and shush her. It was the cutest thing, her voice gets an octave higher and she says "She is just so cute!". I think she is going to make such a great big sister.

And here she is, Rylynn Hope. Congrats Mandi and Elliot!
